## Position Overview: Operator Role at DGAS
As an Operator at PT Dgas Alam Semesta, you will play a vital frontline role in ensuring the seamless distribution and management of compressed natural gas. Your daily responsibilities will directly support our mission to deliver reliable energy solutions across domestic markets.
Key Responsibilities and Daily Tasks
* Compressor Operations: Master and execute the safe, efficient operation of industrial compressors.
* CNG Refueling: Manage the precise execution of compressed natural gas (CNG) filling processes at our Mother Stations.
* Customer-Site Distribution: Oversee seamless gas delivery and offloading procedures directly at client locations.
* Thermal Equipment Management: Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of the components and mechanics behind heat transfer equipment, including heat exchangers, coolers, water heaters, and electric heaters.
* Instrumentation Mastery: Operate and monitor critical instrumentation systems such as regulators, control valves, pressure safety valves (PSVs), and associated flow control hardware.
## Candidate Qualifications and Requirements
To ensure success in this technical role, applicants must meet the following professional and educational criteria:
* Industry Experience: A minimum of 2 years of hands-on working experience within the oil and gas, manufacturing, or heavy industrial sectors (experience within dedicated gas utility companies is a strong distinct advantage).
* Educational Background: Minimum high school diploma or vocational school graduate (SMK/STM/SMA), with a strong preference for candidates holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Technical Literacy: Demonstrated proficiency in using standard computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office suite.
* Operational Flexibility: Fully comfortable working within structured shift schedules and possessing the willingness to be deployed for out-of-town assignments as business needs dictate.
* Health Compliance: Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including the booster dose.
