Key Responsibilities
Under the guidance of the Shift Leader and Unit Controller, the Junior Operator will perform essential duties to ensure the seamless function of the power plant, including:
* Managing daily operation of the combined cycle power (CCP) station systems and equipment.
* Adhering strictly to established safety guidelines and operational protocols.
* Monitoring plant performance to ensure consistent and efficient energy production.
* Assisting in technical troubleshooting and process optimization.
Professional Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess the technical aptitude and analytical mindset required to thrive in a high-stakes industrial environment. Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:
* Educational Background: Hold a Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
* Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
* Technical Proficiency:
* Ability to interpret logic diagrams and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
* Familiarity with power plant terminology and basic electrical/mechanical schematics.
* Understanding of CCP operations and fundamental water chemistry.
* Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, high attention to detail, and a thorough, disciplined approach to tasks.
* Communication: Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
* Flexibility: Capability and willingness to work within a rotating shift schedule.
