The Selection Committee for the Central Information Commission (KIP) is officially opening recruitment for the 2026–2030 term. In accordance with Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Transparency, we invite qualified Indonesian citizens to participate in this open selection process to help shape the future of information accessibility in the country.
## Core Responsibilities of the Role
Successful candidates will play a pivotal role in maintaining democratic standards regarding public information. Key responsibilities include:
* Establishing standardized procedures for dispute resolution via mediation and non-litigation adjudication.
* Receiving, reviewing, and adjudicating public information disputes in regions where provincial or municipal information commissions have not yet been established.
* Submitting comprehensive annual reports to the President and the House of Representatives (DPR) on the implementation of duties under Law No. 14/2008, or upon request.
## Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following general criteria:
* Citizenship & Status: Must be an Indonesian citizen in good physical and mental health.
* Integrity: Must demonstrate high moral character and an impeccable professional track record.
* Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (S1) from an accredited university. Foreign degrees must have an official equivalency certificate from the relevant government ministry.
* Age: Minimum age of 35 years at the time of application.
* Expertise: Solid understanding of public information transparency as a human right and its intersection with public policy.
* Experience: Proven involvement in public agency activities.
* Legal Standing: Must not have been convicted of a criminal offense carrying a sentence of 5 years or more.
* Political Affiliation: Must not be an active member or official of any political party.
Additional Criteria for Civil Servants (ASN)
Applicants currently serving as Civil Servants must fulfill these specific requirements:
Hold a minimum rank of Pembina (IV/a) and possess experience in administrative, structural, or senior functional roles (Lektor Kepala*).
* Maintain a "good" performance rating for the last two consecutive years.
* Must not be under any medium or heavy disciplinary sanctions.
* Must obtain written, stamped approval from a direct supervisor.
* Must have submitted the latest LHKPN/LHKASN (wealth report) and annual tax return (SPT).

Yes. Once you pass the administrative screening phase, you will be required to submit physical and mental health certificates, including a drug-free certification, from a government-run hospital, alongside a valid Police Clearance Certificate (SKCK).
